As the designated county agency for economic development, the Chamber provides leadership and resources to encourage a healthy local economy through the attraction and retention of industry. We work in cooperation with the county's government leadership and Economic Development Council, and at a state level with Enterprise Florida.

The Economic Leadership Alliance (ELA) offers businesses and individuals an opportunity to invest private dollars in our county economic diversification efforts. ELA funds are combined with county general funds and in-kind services to recruit, expand and retain industry in Indian River County.

As a founder of Florida's Research Coast Economic Development Coalition, we are actively involved in promoting the entire region through our partnerships with Martin County and St. Lucie County. In September each year, our Industry Appreciation Awards recognize local industries and employers and architectural accomplishments.
