Our Roots

Founded in 1915 as the Board of Trade and officially incorporated in 1922, our Chamber of Commerce has over a century of dedication to supporting local businesses and strengthening our community.

Over the years, we've grown beyond traditional chamber services. Today, we proudly serve as the official Visitors Center for Indian River County and manage Visit Indian River County, the county’s Tourism Marketing and Promotion office.

We are also home to the county’s Economic Development Organization (EDO), which helps businesses relocate, expand, and thrive in our region.

Together, these efforts form a unified Chamber that supports our members, welcomes our visitors, and champions a thriving, dynamic business environment.
