  • IRC Small Business Recovery Grant Program Phase 4 IRC Small Business Recovery Grant Program Phase 4

NEW!  INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LAUNCHES PHASE 4 OF THE SMALL BUSINESS RECOVERY GRANT PROGRAM

Through the federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act funding program, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners  has allocated $1 million for Phase 4 of their Small Business Recovery Grant program.  The program provides one-time grants of up to $10,000 to eligible independently or locally-owned for-profit small businesses located and operating in Indian River County that were negatively affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Click here to view the eligibility criteria.

The grant is limited to one application per business, including businesses with multiple locations within Indian River County. Funds may be used for business-related expenses incurred after March 3, 2021. Funds may not be used for the exact same expenses that were paid by other federal programs for the same time period. Applications will be accepted and processed until the funds are exhausted.

The Indian River Chamber will process and review the applications for eligibility and completeness, then forward them to county staff for final review and processing.

Click here to access the online application form, or visit www.ircbiz.net.  Any questions, call or email the Indian River Chamber:  772-567-3491 or grants@indianrivered.com.

  • The 2021 American Rescue Plan Act allocated $28.6-billion for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF).  The program provides grant funding for restaurants and others in eligible food-related businesses to help keep their doors open.  Bars, brew pubs, wineries, caterers and food trucks are all eligible to apply.

Business owners can register for the program on the  Small Business Administration (SBA) website.  The application window opens at noon on Monday, May 3, 2021 and will remain available until funds are exhausted.  Applications are submitted online using the SBA web portal. The grants are equal to the business owners’ pandemic-related revenue loss up to $10 million per business and no more than $5 million per physical location. Recipients are not required to repay the funding as long as funds are used for eligible expenses no later than March 11, 2023.

For more information and to prepare your application please visit, www.sba.gov/restaurants.  The Small Business Development Center at Indian River State College has a great informational YouTube video explaining the program and how to apply.
