Carter Associates, Inc. joins LJA Engineering

LJA Engineering, Inc. (LJA), a national multi-disciplinary engineering and consultancy company, has announced the addition of Carter Associates, Inc., to its family of companies. Carter Associates, Inc. (CAI), is a long-established civil engineering and surveying firm in Vero Beach, FL.  Bringing the companies together will allow LJA to increase its offering of professional engineering services in Florida while allowing CAI to expand and grow its client base.

CAI is one of Florida’s oldest and most respected consulting engineering and land surveying firms, tracing its roots back to 1911.  Over the years, CAI has worked on many major projects in both the public and private sectors.  As the company transitions into LJA over the next several months, CAI’s principals, John Blum, David Luethje, George Simons, and Pat Walther, based in Vero Beach, will continue to lead the practice providing clients engineering, surveying, and additional services going forward.
