Annual Meeting & Awards- Held in January, the Annual Membership Meeting provides an opportunity to introduce new Chamber leadership and recognize outstanding contributions made by Chamber members.
Business at Breakfast- The Chamber’s Business at Breakfast offers a structured way to network your business to a large number of members, gain local insights on the issues facing the community and enjoy a hot breakfast– all before 9am. Breakfasts are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month.
Business After Hours- Our Business After Hours, held on the 4th Thursday of each month, offers members an informal way to show off their business and make new business contacts. The largest networking program in Vero Beach and Indian River County, BAH is held each month at various locations. The event offers the perfect opportunity to make new contacts from a variety of industries in a high-energy, social atmosphere.
Chamber Golf Classic- Held annually, the Chamber Golf Classic is the Chamber’s only fundraising event. Held at a private premier Vero Beach golf course, this is a sellout event each year with plenty of sponsorship opportunities available.
Community Leader Summits- By invitation, our Community Leader Summits take on issues of importance to help for a positive future for Vero Beach and Indian River County.
Indian River County Delegation Luncheons- We believe it is important to bring our members and others together to meet and speak to our area Legislators face to face and learn what issues impacting business are being legislated in our State Capitol. Delegation lunches are held semi-annually at a location in Vero Beach.
Industry Appreciation- Recognizing local industry is important to our economy. Industry Appreciation recognizes new residential, commercial and industrial construction as well as commercial redevelopment projects and building renovations; Entrepreneur of the Year; Manufacturers of the Year; small, medium and large Companies of the Year, and (in 2017), and Minority Owned Business of the Year. Eligible businesses are from Vero Beach and Indian River County.
Leadership Indian River County- A community leadership program offered by the Chamber, this 7-session training program brings together a cross-section of the community for a hands-on, multi-disciplinary study of the community. Participants gain an introduction into the infrastructure, natural resources and current political issues of Vero Beach and Indian River County. The program nourishes and develops community leaders: through community knowledge, developing leadership skills, and gaining an understanding of community stewardship. The program prepares participants for active involvement in public and private sectors and civic responsibility with a greater understanding of county needs- now and in the future. Sessions are one day monthly January through July.
Restaurant Week Indian River County- Held in early October, Restaurant Week Indian River County (IRC) offers an extraordinary opportunity for restaurants and bars to showcase their best creations, attract new local patrons and delight regular customers during what may be a “slower” paced time of the year. Restaurant Week IRC celebrates the community’s diverse dining opportunities prior to “season” with a focus on seasonal products and supporting local restaurant businesses.
State of the County- Held in July, this event features a “State of the County” address from the County Administrator and the County Commission Chairman.
Tourism Luncheon- Bringing together those interested in the County’s tourism industry, this annual event provides speakers specializing in an area pertinent to the growth of tourism in the County and in Florida.
