    General Function
    The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day technical integrity of the Vero Beach Campus, offsite facilities, offices, grounds and all corresponding fixtures and equipment. The Indrio Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for administrative operations such as scheduling and overseeing maintenance staff and ensuring compliance with appropriate laws and policies, which includes OSHA safety practices/procedures.
    This position requires 75% hands-on mechanical work with 25% supervising of maintenance staff. This will transition to more supervising, less hands-on, as the maintenance department / team grows.
     
    Mission
    Lead the maintenance team to ensure all Florida facilities and equipment are maintained to the safety, cleanliness and performance standards set forth by upper management and the property owner.

    • FL plant downtime during production runs
    • Equipment preparedness
    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Delegating facility and maintenance tasks to maintenance team members.
    • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed.
    • Ensure material handling systems are properly serviced and maintained to avoid any downtime during production runs.
    • Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, parking lots, production area, maintenance shop, warehouse and outdoor spaces.
    • Collaborating with the Director of Production on capital and operating budgets for facility and staffing needs.
    • Assist in programming and physical changes to MHS and production equipment.
    • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
    • Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors.
    • Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
    • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
    • Assist the Director on special projects and assignments as needed.
    • Assist with production as required.
    • Other tasks as required/needed.
    Education, Experience & Qualifications
    • 5+ years supervisory/management experience required.
    • AA / BA degree in facility management, construction or engineering preferred.
    • Understanding of PLC controlled equipment and automated material handling systems strongly preferred.
    • Warehouse / Manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Welding and fabricating skills preferred.
    • Experience in commercial HVAC systems preferred.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills necessary.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office, including Word and Excel.
    • Experience in the citrus industry a plus

    Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, crawl, stand for extended periods of time, work at elevated heights, visually and audibly inspect machinery and equipment. Must be able to work in an environment where temperatures can range from 0 degrees when inside of walk in freezers to 100 degrees inside the warehouse. Able to work outside for extended periods of time, including during inclement weather.
    The peak season for Indrio Brands spans from November through January. PTO blackouts will apply in peak season.
