Through a representative group of members, the Chamber monitors local, state and federal legislation. They study, recommend and communicate Chamber positions on pending legislation affecting the business community to appropriate government officials and propose legislation when needed.
In addition, the Chamber hosts government events such as forums to educate voters, legislative luncheons and meet with local elected officials throughout the year to discuss specific items.
Along with Martin County and St. Lucie County Chambers of Commerce, the Chamber also hosts the annual Florida's Research Coast Legislative Conference in Tallahassee.
