Guest speaker: Katherina (Kitty) Palidowa M.H.P. is the Executive Director of Main Street Vero Beach. She was formerly the Program Assistant for the Florida Main Street Program in Tallahassee.
About the Book: This memoir of growing up in the backwoods of north-central Florida spans from the late twenties to the early fifties. The Creek tells of the ornery, independent Crackers who lived by the Cross Creek near Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings.
