BUSINESS ASSISTANCE TEAMS
The Chamber's Economic Development Office will assemble a Business Assistance Team, tailored to your business needs. Whether you have a new business, or you’re expanding or relocating to Indian River County, our team of professionals will assist in streamlining the entire permitting process. Working with our resource partners, assistance is also available in hiring and training new employees.

NEW-TO-FLORIDA BUSINESS INFORMATION
The State of Florida offers a website for new businesses that will help you search and access filed information for: corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, general partnerships, trademarks, fictitious name registrations and liens. Images of most filed documents can be downloaded at no charge plus most filing forms are available for download. Electronic filing and certification is also available on this site.

BUSINESS LICENSES
The County Tax Collector website offers a checklist for start-up companies and those relocating to Indian River County with a list of documentation that may be required and local contact information.The local business tax year is from October 1st to September 30th of the following year.

The Chamber offers free Notary services to members by appointment.

ECONOMIC TOURS

A tour of the county is offered twice a year highlighting the industrial areas of the county and featuring several area manufacturers. The tour is provided free and is open to the public.

BUSINESS RELOCATION SERVICES

For businesses or employees relocating to Indian River County, the Chamber provides hands-on assistance to familiarize them with real estate, services, schools, places of worship, the medical community, local government agencies, community organizations, recreation and cultural opportunities.

The Chamber participates in the ACCRA cost of living survey which compares the costs of a variety of items among 300 communities nationwide.
