The ACCRA Cost of Living Index measures differences
between areas in the cost of consumer goods and services,
excluding taxes and nonconsumer expenditures, for professional
and managerial households in the top income quintile. The Index
does not measure inflation. The Chamber gathers prices on more
than 60 items each quarter. The Indian River County Chamber of
Commerce has participated in ACCRA since 1996.
