Networking Opportunities
The Chamber sponsors dozens of events to help members get to
know one another and conduct business. Networking with other
members is an exciting and effective way of generating new
clients and leads. Two monthly networking opportunities are
"Business After Hours" and "Good Morning Treasure Coast Network
Breakfast."
"Business After Hours" is held
the fourth Thursday of each month and draws a large crowd to a
different member host location each time. “Business After Hours”
offers an informal method of exchanging business cards and
meeting new clients and customers.
For a more structured approach to
networking, attend "Good Morning Treasure Coast Network
Breakfast” once every month and listen to a different sponsor
present information about his or her business, followed by
focused table presentations.
Meetings
The Chamber hosts its Annual Meeting in the fall that presents
information on the plans and goals for the upcoming year to the
membership. It also provides an opportunity to introduce new
Chamber leadership and recognize outstanding contributions made
by Chamber members.
General membership meetings may
feature business speakers or area legislators addressing timely
business issues or issues of interest to the community.
The annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon is held in September
and recognizes the best new commercial and residential projects,
redevelopment and restoration projects, and architectural and
landscaping achievements. The Manufacturer's Expansion Awards,
Manufacturer's Achievement Award and the Company of the Year
award are also presented at this meeting.
The annual Manufacturer's Round
Table brings together manufacturers to network and discuss the
challenges they face in their businesses and how the Chamber can
assist them.
Educational Seminars
Designed for both large and small businesses, Chamber-sponsored
seminars provide members many opportunities for continued
education and awareness of new business trends. Seminars are led
by nationally recognized speakers as well as college educators
and members of the Chamber.
Business Expo
Held at the Indian River Mall, the Business Expo is yet another
way Chamber members and area businesses can effectively promote
their products and services to other businesses and the
community at large.
New Member Receptions
Held quarterly, these receptions are an opportunity for new
members to visit the Chamber offices, meet the staff and members
of the Board and get acquainted with one another.
