The Indian River County Chamber of Commerce is organized into
working divisions, committees and task forces manned by
volunteer members. These members take an active role in planning
and implementing programs and strategies to achieve the goals
and objectives of the business community.
Economic Development Division
As the key agency for county-wide economic development efforts,
the Chamber provides leadership and resources to encourage a
healthy local economy through the attraction and retention of
industry. The division works in cooperation with the County's
Economic Development Council and is composed of two working
committees: Economic Development and the Manufacturers Council.
Primary funding for this division is generated through our
Private Industry Partners, County funds, in-kind services,
grants and donations.
County Economic Leadership

strengthen our local economy.

therefore; tourism is big business in Indian River County. The

function is funded through the county bed tax and in-kind
contributions from the Chamber and visitor industry business.

To help insure the finances of the Chamber, special events
committees identify and implement potential new events and
explore ways to enhance existing events such as the golf
